Belmont Park School is a special school for students aged 9-16 with challenging behaviour.
Our aim is to improve behaviour and raise attainment. We have created a calm and peaceful learning environment in which staff and students have excellent rapport. Students access the full National Curriculum, study nationally accredited examinations, and progress to full-time college courses.
Aims of Belmont Park School:

- To prepare and support students for adult and working life.
Care, Guidance and Support
- Every student has a Tutor
- There is a maximum of 7 students in each Tutor Group
- The PHSE curriculum is designed to offer care, guidance and support to each student
- Students are able to access one-to-one support throughout the day
- There is a breakfast club and an after-school club where students can obtain extra one-to-one support
- Staff are trained in dealing with Child Protection issues
- Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning are integral to the whole School day
- Social Workers, Educational Psychologists, YOT Workers and the Adolescent Support Workers regularly visit the School to see our students and to offer them care, guidance and support
- Our dedicated Police Liaison Officer also offers care, guidance and support about gang culture, dangerous weapons and other relevant issues
- Our School Nurse sees all students at the School on a regular basis and ensure they are immunised and healthy.
