Belmont Park is a special school for students with extremely challenging behaviour. We aim to increase academic attainment and improve behaviour.

Students feel welcome, happy and safe. The building is clean and well maintained. and the school is a calm learning environment. Good behaviour is promoted through a programme of positive rewards.

We praise the behaviour that we want to encourage. Students always receive more praise for doing the right thing than criticism for doing the wrong thing. Praise is an important part of the school’s work and all achievement must be praised no matter how small.
